The DC Summer STEM Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides funds for students currently attending DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools or TItle I schools in MD or VA to receive STEM enrichment and support experiences over the summer.

FREE Summer “POWER HOUR” Tutoring Sessions

The DC Summer STEM Academy is now funding free summer tutoring sessions for students in grades 7-12 currently attending DCPS, DCPCS, or Title I schools in MD or VA. The hourlong online sessions will be given by Andrew Callard, a veteran math educator and former Sidwell Friends Middle School Math Department Head. Scholarship funds are available for 10-15 students to receive up to 6 free online tutoring sessions with Mr. Callard to be scheduled over the course of the summer. Scholarships are limited, and the deadline for applications is April 30, 2025, so apply soon by clicking the button below!
